On the coming November 5th to December 10th, Seoul Seongbuk-gu will hold the ‘2021 Seongbuk Online Career Experience Expo’ for a total duration of five weeks.
According to district 29, the 3rd ‘2021 Seongbuk Online Career Job Experience Expo’ is an online 3D virtual space created with a metaverse platform. It was designed to support the youth through experiencing careers, majors, and future technologies to explore and design practical career paths.
This Expo consists of 51 booths covering contents of career · major · future technologies across five different fields, △Live Mentoring △Future Research △Major Search △Career Experience and △Career Understanding, which are all available to visit within the Metaverse Seongbuk Campus.
In addition, the target audience is expanded to include not only middle · high school students, but also parents and general residents of the district as well. Participants can access the ‘Metaverse SeongBuk Campus’ anytime, anywhere through both PC and mobile.
This year, in particular, we plan to provide a more realistic experience along with more diverse content by organizing real-time career advancement and job mentoring together with Korea University and Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
The Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, Lee Seung-Ro said in a video greeting, “I hope this fair will provide you with a meaningful time for you to explore your own career paths and encounter opportunities for challenges, as well as experiencing even a small portion of the future that will unfold.”
